Job DetailsJob Location: SoSa at Palo Alto - San Antonio, TX 78224A growing property management firm is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to assist the Community Manager in the daily operation of our property Property Name in Property Location.
The assistant manager should be an organized, outgoing and friendly professional who supports the community manager in all aspects of property management. The focus of this position is to ensure the effective operation of the apartment community. This role is responsible for keeping accurate property records, leasing available units, tenant retention and assumes a leadership role in the absence of the Community Manager.
QualificationsWHAT YOU’LL DO:
Maintain excellent customer service, delighting resident with proactive service and quick, accurate response to enquiries and requests
Collect rents and other receipts; Post and deposit rental and other income within 24 hours of collection
Maintain accurate records of all community transactions e.g. rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-in/move-outs, etc.
Perform collection proceedings, eviction, and utility cut-offs as required on delinquent rents in a timely manner
Ensure that invoices are input and coded into the Accounts Payable for payment in a timely manner
Ensure all lease files are complete and continue to keep them current; maintain dead files in proper condition
Prepare and deliver all delinquency, eviction, and Notices to Vacate
Review lease files prior to move-in
Schedule renewals or move-outs
Maintain a resident retention plan by contacting lease renewals 65 days in advance, inspect community at least weekly (walk your property) and ensure all potential liability issues are corrected in a timely manner
Conduct and supervise monthly market studies
Assume Community Manager’s responsibilities when not available
WHAT WE NEED:
2+ years in Multifamily property management, proven track record of success
Experience with Yardi property management software, strongly preferred
Strong admin and communication skills
Takeover experience, strongly preferred
Valid driver’s license, required
Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test, required
COMPENSATION:
Negotiable depending on role and experience
