Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering positive relationships to ensure high tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Lease Administration & Documentation: Assist in administering lease agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and maintaining accurate records of all lease, tenant, and building documents.
- Financial Management: Assist in budgeting/forecasting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Primary accounting contact for accounts payable including coding invoices, managing adjustments and accruals, and processing billbacks.
- Accounts Receivable: Monitor and manage the collection of rent payments, confirm tenant charges, ensure timely application of funds received, and address any issues related to late payments or delinquencies.
- Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess conditions, identify maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate maintenance and repair requests, liaising with vendors and maintenance personnel to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues while maintaining property standards. Involvement in larger capital and/or operational projects.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in office, industrial, or retail property management.
- Experience in property management software (Yardi and Angus Anywhere preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint & Teams).
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate across digital platforms and in-person.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management, including prioritization of time sensitive items and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
