- Process applications and coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
- Maintain accurate leasing records and follow up promptly on leads.
- Help maximize occupancy and minimize vacancy.
Resident Relations and Bilingual Communication
- Communicate professionally with residents and prospective residents in both English and Spanish.
- Explain rental policies, payment requirements, maintenance procedures, and community rules in both languages.
- Address resident concerns promptly, professionally, and consistently.
- Help ensure Spanish-speaking residents receive clear and accurate information.
Rent Collections and Administration
- Monitor rent payments and follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Deliver approved notices and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain resident files and update information in Rent Manager.
- Complete required reports, daily priorities, and assigned tasks on time.
Property Maintenance and Inspections
- Walk and inspect the community regularly.
- Identify maintenance problems, rule violations, and property appearance issues.
- Coordinate repairs with maintenance staff and outside contractors.
- Inspect vacant homes and help ensure homes are ready for occupancy.
- Follow up until assigned repairs and resident requests are resolved.
Required
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, including professional verbal communication and the ability to read and write routine resident correspondence.
- Experience in property management, residential leasing, or a similar housing operations role.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using computers, property management software, and mobile applications.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow through on commitments.
- Ability to work on-site and conduct routine walking inspections throughout the community.
Preferred
- 2+ years of residential property management experience.
- Experience managing 100+ rental units or homesites.
- Experience with rent collections, leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
- Familiarity with Rent Manager or similar property management software.
- Manufactured housing, multifamily, or apartment management experience.
We value people who take initiative, communicate early when problems arise, and follow through on commitments.
The right candidate doesn't simply report problems—they take responsibility for coordinating solutions and ensuring work gets completed.
