Job DetailsJob Location: Sandalwood LIHTC Management LLC - Austin, TX 78746Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00 HourlySandalwood Management, a dynamic property management firm is seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful Property Accountant to join our fast-growing team. This position, reporting to the Accounting Manager, will oversee the AR & GL functions for a portfolio of multifamily properties. QualificationsJob responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Verify accuracy of lease data and accounting data entered in YARDI (property management software) Review delinquency reports and work with managers to maximize collections. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Post month-end close journal entries Ensure company adherence to policies and procedures for consistent processing. Provide insight on property performance in month end reviews. Knowledge and Skills Required: BA or BS degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field 1 to 2 years of corporate accounting experience Experience with residential property management preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel. Experience with property management software applications, preferred (Yardi) Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to multitask. Team-oriented attitude Ability to meet deadlines and work in a high volume fast paced environment. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
