- Requirements/Qualifications: Engineering or technical maintenance background (MEP expertise preferred), 5+ years of experience managing facilities and multi-vendor contracts.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities
As our Maintenance Director, you are the "face of operations" for this prestigious Class A commercial campus. You won't just oversee maintenance; you will own the facility’s strategic direction. As the Facilities Maintenance Director, you will serve as the primary point of contact for campus operations, providing transparency and high-level reporting to client leadership.

Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with a dedicated onsite Janitorial Manager who directly oversees all commercial cleaning and janitorial functions, allowing you to focus heavily on engineering, infrastructure, and overall site management.

Vendor Management: Proactively manage vendor contracts (landscaping, elevators, specialized services) to ensure site quality remains showroom-ready.

Operational Oversight: Lead a dedicated maintenance team of 8-9 professionals to ensure efficient building performance.

Strategic Planning: Conduct facility assessments and propose infrastructure improvements (e.g., HVAC upgrades, site aesthetic improvements) that align with the client’s budget and long-term vision.
What You Bring To The Team / Qualifications

The "Engineering Chops": An engineering degree (Electrical/Mechanical preferred) or equivalent high-level technical maintenance experience (e.g., military engineering background). You understand MEP systems and the mechanics of a large facility.

Proactive Communication: You are a seasoned leader who doesn't wait for problems to occur. You identify potential issues and present solutions to stakeholders before they escalate.
