We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team! Direct and coordinate activities concerned with maintaining the company’s facilities and equipment by performing the following duties directly or through subordinates.
This is a full-time position located in Lancaster, PA. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6 AM – 2:30 PM. (Hours subject to change due to business demands)
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Direct the manufacturing floor maintenance activities to ensure reliable machine operations, maintain a professional environment and resolve facility maintenance needs.
- Engage daily with employees to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery & Value results are achieved.
- Develop, implement, and manage a CMMS system to plan and document scheduled maintenance activities and needs.
- Consults with engineering personnel about modification of machines and equipment to improve safe production & quality of products.
- Recommend, develop, and implement measures to continuously improve workplace safety.
- Develop capital equipment justifications for improvement and lead capital project executions to achieve desired results.
- Provide leadership to the maintenance technicians to establish an adequate sense of expectations, direction, and performance.
- Manage 3rd party service providers including the establishment of service contracts/agreements as necessary to maintain the facilities.
- Manage preventative maintenance tasks, service parts and tool room processes to achieve desired results.
- Participate in meetings/hearings to resolve or effect settlement of grievance matters.
- Allocate resources effectively utilizing assets and personnel to produce optimal results.
- Demonstrate technical abilities including knowledge of mechanical electrical, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC.
- Self-directed, ability to work with minimal supervision to achieve results.
- Coaches, mentors, and develops personnel, including other leaders.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages 6-10 employees within the Maintenance Department
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training, electro-mechanical technology, electrical technology, industrial maintenance and/or related experience
