Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
• Four (4) year bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a maintenance technician with supervisory experience in manufacturing industry.
• This is a working Supervisor role leading Maintenance Technicians, with 25% hands on troubleshooting and fixing machine issues and 75% planning, organizing, purchasing and working with external maintenance suppliers and contractors.
• A working knowledge of programmable logic controllers, hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics is required.
• A proactive and action-oriented nature, relative to reaction to emergencies as well as preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles a plus.
• Experience initiating “what if” analysis to determine opportunities for cost savings.
• Excellent analytical (statistical) skills – logical and systematic approach.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust priorities by impact with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrated high level of enthusiasm, perseverance and success building cross-functional teams.
• Judgment and Decision-Making skills — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
• Complex Problem-Solving skills — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Supplier relationships and self-directed to get the supplies required to repair equipment.
• Highly organized with solid Project Management planning experience in fast paced environment.
• “Can do” attitude to get machinery fixed in timely manner to minimize machine downtimes.
• Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership

Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
• Initiating, implementing, and managing the plant maintenance and tool and die program based on best practices with an emphasis on machine up time, planning/scheduling, and preventative/predictive maintenance.
• Monitoring the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiating reordering when necessary.
• Maintaining and improving Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program to continuously drive to minimize unplanned downtime and cost.
• Managing safety programs/practices to ensure a safe work environment.
• Preparing reports, analyzing data, and makes recommendations for improving coating operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
• Ensuring maintenance associates are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that maintenance activities can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner across all shifts.
• Managing tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of assembly equipment.
• Managing department work schedule and initiating job assignments at the beginning of the shift(s), and changes during the shift(s) as required.
• Reviewing the operation of assembly equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, solve problems in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Tracking, analyzing, and improving key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85K/yr-$95k/yr.
