Your Responsibilities:
- Plan all Maintenance activities including prioritization of day-to-day tasks for team members, long-term improvement projects, and July/December Maintenance projects.
- Track and improve maintenance KPI’s including on time completion of PM’s, machine downtime, and maintenance and repairs cost.
- Develop and use planning tools (Excel, CMMS, Schedules, Lists) that are shared with their staff as well as internal customers.
- Have the ability to see the “big picture” impact of Maintenance on the overall company goals and build systems to help achieve results.
- Work with a cross-functional group including: Production, Engineering, Quality, IT, Shipping/Receiving, and Executives within the company.
- Administer our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including creating PM schedules, recording maintenance activities, opening/closing work orders, editing the asset list as required. Keeping CMMS up to date is crucial to the department’s success.
- Promote the progression of our Maintenance activities from reactive to preventative to predictive.
- Coordinate training and development of staff. Conduct monthly 1x1 meetings and annual performance evaluations of staff.
- Promote a high-performing, positive, flexible, and team-oriented environment.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience leading teams; collaborative and approachable style with the ability to coach and mentor.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with direct reports, peers, operations teams, and external contractors. No ego.
- To be mechanically inclined with some experience with CNC machinery and an understanding of machine diagnostics.
- 5+ years in industrial maintenance, preferably in the precision machining industry.
- To accept and thrive in the ever-changing production/maintenance environment.
- Computer skills including CMMS, MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Folder navigation.

Work Environment and Growth Opportunities
- Schedule – Approximately 48 hours per week, core hours 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday. Occasional Saturdays and on-call support.
