Is seeking to hire a CNC Maintenance Manager .
Job Overview:
A Maintenance manager oversees the maintenance and repair of a company's facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and functional environment, implement preventative maintenance programs. Supervise staff, coordinating repairs, managing service contracts, and contributing to long-term facility planning. Strong emphasis on time management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directing, training, and supervising maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and skills.
- Managing daily maintenance activities, including installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Developing and managing employee schedules and routines
- Developing and managing budgets for maintenance activities, spare parts and staff, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Developing programs to reduce equipment downtime due to unforeseen repairs
- Negotiating and managing service contracts for specialized maintenance and repairs.
- Contributing to long-term facility planning, including capital expenditure proposals and energy efficiency projects.
- Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with relevant ISO 13485, OSHA, safety and health regulations.
- Addressing and resolving maintenance issues, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Maintaining effective communication with team members, other departments, and management.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Effectively allocating resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to meet maintenance demands.
- Leads companywide safety initiatives.
Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):
- Proven experience as maintenance manager or another managerial role with Swiss screw machines (Tornos/Deco 10&13, Swiss Nano)
- Experience in planning maintenance operations.
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
- Experience repair on CNC Swiss screw machines
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
- Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus
