Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager will manage the Maintenance Department in the coordination of supporting the divisional safety, quality, and productivity goals by maintaining, programming, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Programs input/output, maintains and repairs CNC manufacturing equipment and facilities using knowledge of computer numerical control processes
- Troubleshoots machine hardware and software problems using technical CNC skills and knowledge of the machines; go through schematics to complete an analysis of problems
- Supports customer service and manufacturing productivity goals by minimizing downtime through the completion of preventive maintenance to recognize immediate problems
- Maintains and organizes machine and maintenance data so that it can be used by others
- Promotes quality improvements and provides training when required
- Demonstrates leadership in attendance, work ethic, positive attitude toward change, and overall company goals
- May be required to be involved in the recruiting process, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action
Qualifications
- Post-high school education is required
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance area; 1 to 3 years of experience managing people
- • Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, and welding
- Working knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of hazardous wage and hazardous material handling procedures and practices
- Working knowledge of the use of precision tools, measuring instruments, and other hand tools
- Working knowledge of excel, word, outlook, and other business software
- Preferred understanding on company policies, practices and procedures
