Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for overseeing equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and leading maintenance personnel while ensuring safety and operational efficiency remain top priorities. Pay rate is based off of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all maintenance operations and procedures
• Ensure machinery and equipment remain operational and production-ready
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed
• Monitor mechanical performance and maintenance records
• Train and support maintenance team members on procedures and best practices
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture throughout the facility
• Assist with planning and managing capital improvement projects
• Track maintenance metrics, reports, and equipment performance data
• Maintain relationships with outside vendors and service providers
• Manage maintenance budgets and control repair costs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal safety regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong mechanical knowledge across multiple systems and equipment types
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Experience coordinating outside vendors and contractors
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking systems
• Ability to balance administrative duties with hands-on maintenance support
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
