About the Role

Oakbrook Corporation is seeking an experienced, solutions‑driven Property Manager to lead operations for a multifamily residential community. This role is ideal for a strong leader who excels at cultivating highly collaborative teams, delivering outstanding resident experiences, and ensuring the financial and operational success of the property.

As the Property Manager, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations, resident relations, financial performance, and team development. You will partner with regional leadership and maintenance teams to achieve strategic goals and maintain high standards across the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership, coaching, and support to onsite team members.
  • Oversee leasing, resident communication, rent collection, and compliance processes.
  • Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, reporting, and expense control.
  • Drive occupancy and retention through proactive leasing strategies and exceptional service.
  • Ensure adherence to Fair Housing laws and company policies.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to plan repairs, maintenance activities, and capital projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate regular operational and financial reports.
  • Promote a community culture focused on professionalism, respect, and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in multifamily property management required.
  • Affordable housing experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience supervising or developing staff.
  • Strong communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in property management systems.
  • Solid knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
